I enjoy acting as a resource to people with orthopedic injuries in any way I can. The “hat” I wear the most is helping people problem solve through their aches and pains whether the problem is new or old. Just because you’ve seen everyone under the sun doesn’t mean there isn’t an elegant solution to your problem.
I often get 3 page emails from clients summarizing everything they’ve tried to solve their problems. The frustration in some of these emails is palpable. Throwing tons of time and money at something with no real results is too common in our current health care system. These stubborn injuries require “out of the box” thinking, a practitioner with time and curiosity, creative problem solving, and a clearly defined path to success. Whether your problem is new and simple or old and complicated, I’d love to help.
I’m happy to fill any gap I can in helping you fully understand what you’re dealing with and why. Being injured is scary, frustrating, painful, and often confusing. If you are struggling to get your head around how you arrived to where you are and how the hell you can get out of it, I’m here to help. I can help you interpret your Xray or MRI scan after you’ve seen your doctor. I can help you problem solve through why you’re hurt and teach you how to get well and stay well. I can guide you to other solid professionals who may also be able to help you (diet, strength training, sports psychology, massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc.) if needed. I can just listen and be a sounding board and guide for you to get YOUR head around the problem. And, while doing this in person is best, I’m happy to help by phone or email if a face to face visit isn’t possible!
